How long will Culinary Reserve Crab Meat last in the fridge?

Our crab meat has a refrigerated shelf life of 12 months. Each can also has a Sell By date on the bottom of it, which can also be used as a "Use By/Eat By" date.

Can I freeze Culinary Reserve Crab Meat cans?

We do not recommend freezing the cans of crab meat, if you can avoid it. Once frozen and then thawed, the crab meat will taste a bit different than ideal (slightly inferior flavor and texture). However, if you NEED to freeze the crab meat, you certainly can, as long as you are aware of the impact on quality.

    The best

    This is the only crabmeat we will use for crab cakes. They are now a requirement on our summer vaca with multiple families. I’m in charge of crabmeat because this is the best!! Shipping is great also!
