How long will Culinary Reserve Crab Meat last in the fridge?

Our crab meat has a refrigerated shelf life of 12 months. Each can also has a Sell By date on the bottom of it, which can also be used as a "Use By/Eat By" date.

Can I freeze Culinary Reserve Crab Meat cans?

We do not recommend freezing the cans of crab meat, if you can avoid it. Once frozen and then thawed, the crab meat will taste a bit different than ideal (slightly inferior flavor and texture). However, if you NEED to freeze the crab meat, you certainly can, as long as you are aware of the impact on quality.

    Super lump pasteurized crab meat

    The quality was very good! The taste was also very good! I plan to buy the crab meat again. I made crab cakes out of the 3 lb of the crab meat I bought. I kept a quarter pound out to make crab meat omelets the next morning for breakfast for my lady and myself. Again, I plan to buy more crab meat from North Coast seafood. Don Roebuck
