Harvested naturally in the North Atlantic Ocean. Every sea scallop is hand-shucked and individually flash-frozen at sea within minutes of catch to lock in maximum freshness.

These Dry scallops are absolutely chemical-free with no water added, allowing them to pan sear perfectly and caramelize beautifully to showcase the natural scallop flavor. We call these "Sea Candy" for their incredibly sweet flavor.

Why the Shipping Charge?
  • Our shipping charge is calculated to cover the cost of express next-day delivery on a nationwide scale. The reason shipping varies based on order weight is because the lower the weight of the delivery, the higher the cost of express shipping.
  • Express shipping ensures that our customers' seafood is precisely temperature controlled in transit to maintain maximum freshness upon arrival.
  • We are proud to offer next-day delivery with no order minimum and do everything we can to keep our shipping fees as fair and reasonable as possible for our valued customers. But ultimately, it is those shipping costs that make our delivery program possible.

Thawing Instructions

Remove frozen scallops from all packaging. Thaw in refrigerator overnight, or for 8 hours. For quicker thawing, keep scallops in plastic wrap and place under cold running water for 5 to 7 minutes or until thawed.

Handling Instructions

Do not refreeze. Thawed scallops can be stored under refrigeration for two days. Once thawed, pat dry of any excess moisture.

Scallop Recipes

Baked Scallop Casserole

1 lb. Naked Sea Scallops, thaw and pat dry excess moisture


  • 1 lb – 14 oz. can Artichoke hearts, packed in water
  • 2 tbl – Fresh garlic, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup – White wine, use what you drink!
  • 1 tsp – Fresh garlic, chopped finely
  • To taste – Kosher salt + fresh ground pepper

Oyster Cracker Topping:

  • 6 tbl – Butter, melted
  • 2 cups – Oyster crackers
  • 2 tbl – Fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ each – Lemon, zested and then juiced


  • Pre-heat oven to 450°F.
  • Pulse oyster crackers in a food processor until coarsely ground.
  • Add butter, parsley and lemon. Pulse just to combine + keep chilled.
  • In a bowl – combine the scallops, garlic, wine and melted butter + toss well.
  • Season with salt + pepper. Transfer to a casserole dish in one layer.
  • Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the scallops.
  • Bake for 14-16 minutes, until crumbs have browned + scallops are cooked through.

    The Best Scallops Ever

    I didn't think I was a fan of scallops until I tried these. North Coast Seafood has some of the best seafood I have ever tried, and these Jumbo Naked Sea Scallops did not disappoint. They have a delicious, clean, almost sweet taste. I will make sure to always keep a package in my freezer for my seafood cravings.

    FAS Sea scallops

    Nothing better than these. Think about it. These are shucked and frozen (unadulterated) immediately on board the vessel. You can’t get a fresh deep sea scallop to shore in less than a day and then day(s) added to that afterwards - while in the supply chain. It’s a no brainer.

    A night in the fridge and they are ready to cook the next day. You sauté and caramelize these and you are a rock star for whom ever gets to taste them. Bon appetit and don’t overcook any seafood.

    The only drawback is the packaging. There is only the two of us and it is too much to thaw out at one time for the two of us. But, definitely delicious.

    OMG so good!

    I've had frozen scallops before that tasted like rubber bands, they were that chewy. These scallops tasted like fresh and melt in your mouth. I shared them with a good friend and she loved them too. Will be buying them again!
