Lump Crab Meat consists of broken pieces of jumbo flakes and special crab meat. Lump crab meat is best used for homemade Crab cakes, dips, salads, and casseroles. Lump crab meat also makes for a beautiful presentation as a stuffing for fish, chicken, vegetables, or seafood.

We know that finding lump crab meat for sale can be difficult depending on where you live and the time of year. That’s why we ship our wild caught blue swimming crab meat across the country, so you can enjoy the buttery, sweet flavor whenever you're ready to indulge.

Why the Shipping Charge?

  • Our shipping charge is calculated to cover the cost of express next-day delivery on a nationwide scale. The reason shipping varies based on order weight is because the lower the weight of the delivery, the higher the cost of express shipping.
  • Express shipping ensures that our customers’ seafood is precisely temperature controlled in transit to maintain maximum freshness upon arrival.
  • We are proud to offer next-day delivery with no order minimum and do everything we can to keep our shipping fees as fair and reasonable as possible for our valued customers. But ultimately, it is those shipping costs that make our delivery program possible.

How long will Culinary Reserve Crab Meat last in the fridge?

Our crab meat has a refrigerated shelf life of 12 months. Each can also has a Sell By date on the bottom of it, which can also be used as a "Use By/Eat By" date.

Can I freeze Culinary Reserve Crab Meat cans?

We do not recommend freezing the cans of crab meat, if you can avoid it. Once frozen and then thawed, the crab meat will taste a bit different than ideal (slightly inferior flavor and texture). However, if you NEED to freeze the crab meat, you certainly can, as long as you are aware of the impact on quality.
