However, if you NEED to freeze the crab meat, you certainly can, as long as you are aware of the impact on quality.

I was using this for a creamed crabmeat recipe that has been in our family for several generations. Previous batches I have made were very good, but this one was outstanding! The lumps of crabmeat were huge; actually big enough to use only four or five in a crabmeat cocktail and still be very satisfying. I will always by my crabmeat from your comapny in the future.
