Love salmon,; this tastes light lighter version
Wasn't sure what to expect and thought it might be a bit too oily for me, but ended up really liking it. Good flavor and texture, very fresh tasting. Not crazy about the skin but the meat flaked right off.
Arctic char is hands down my favorite fish! It is extremely versatile with plenty of preparation methods and takes on any marinade or seasoning you can dream up. The flesh itself is delicate, mild and buttery and melts in the mouth. It contains some of the highest omega-3's out there which is an essential part of a healthy diet. My go to preparations are grilling with a cedar plank (outstanding), smoking, and pan searing. It's an absolute must try.
I am usually not a salmon fan but a friend who recently visited Iceland told me I had to try arctic char. Suffice to say it was great advice! I baked it in the oven and it came out amazing! Thank you soo much for offering!
This was my first time trying this fish and I'm SO glad I did. I just baked it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and some honey and it was flaky, moist, and so delicious. Would definitely recommend!
