Our Naked Norwegian Salmon is convenient to keep on hand, stored in your freezer until it’s time to cook. An easy way to thaw salmon is to put it in your refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight, remove the plastic wrap after thawing, pat dry of any excess moisture, and get to cooking.

For quicker thawing, place the fish under cold running water or in a bowl of ice water for 7-10 minutes. It’s important to keep the fish in plastic wrap or its original packaging during this process. Why the Shipping Charge?

  • Our shipping charge is calculated to cover the cost of express next-day delivery on a nationwide scale. The reason shipping varies based on order weight is because the lower the weight of the delivery, the higher the cost of express shipping.
  • Express shipping ensures that our customers’ seafood is precisely temperature controlled in transit to maintain maximum freshness upon arrival.
  • We are proud to offer next-day delivery with no order minimum and do everything we can to keep our shipping fees as fair and reasonable as possible for our valued customers. But ultimately, it is those shipping costs that make our delivery program possible.

Thawing Instructions

Remove frozen salmon portions from all packaging. Thaw in refrigerator overnight, or for 8 hours. For quicker thawing, keep fish in plastic wrap and place under cold running water for 5 to 7 minutes or until thawed.

Handling Instructions

Do not refreeze. Thawed salmon can be stored under refrigeration for two days. Once thawed, pat dry of any excess moisture.


“Honey Mustard Crunch” Salmon

This recipe takes everything we love about Naked Norwegian Salmon and complements it with bold flavors and a savory crunch. This easy salmon recipe can come together in under 30 minutes.

(3) Naked Norwegian Salmon Portions, thaw and pat dry
Epic Honey Mustard Glaze

  • ⅓ cup – Honey
  • ¼ cup – Whole grain mustard
  • 2 tbl –Smooth Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbl – Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp – Horseradish
  • 1 tsp – Smoked Paprika


  • ¾ cup – Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbl – Dried Parsley
  • 2 tbl – Olive oil


  • In a small bowl, combine all the glaze ingredients + mix until well combined.⁠
  • Keep chilled until ready to use.⁠
  • Combine crumb ingredients into a bowl + mix well. Reserve.⁠
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.⁠
  • Arrange Naked Salmon portions onto an oiled baking tray. Season with salt + pepper.⁠
  • Top each portion with a heaping tablespoon of glaze + spread evenly over the fish.⁠
  • Press crumbs evenly onto glaze.⁠
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes until fish is cooked through.⁠
  • Serve with a drizzle of Honey Mustard Glaze.

    We have been purchasing this salmon for about a year and it has never disappointed. During the darker days last year of Covid, I looked for sources of high quality fish.     Best salmon

    I used to get fresh salmon at Whole Foods, But these are much better. I love how they come sealed one by one and with no skin. I am sensitive to ”fish taste” and these are so mild and has little to no fish taste. I always recommend these to my friends.

    Return to 3 4-oz filets

    The quality of the salmon is five stars - delicious. But, for some reason, North Coast Seafoods decided to go from three four oz. filets, which had been the packaging for quite awhile, to two six oz. filets. At least for me, the old size worked better and provided more flexibility. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," is still good advice.
